    The Bruker Nano Analytics (BNA) Division, headquartered at Bruker Nano GmbH in Berlin, Germany, develops, manufactures and markets state of the art systems and components for elemental and structural analysis on micro- and nano-scale.

     

    We are seeking a Product Manager (m/f/d) for our electron microscopy analyzer (EMA) product line.
    The EMA product line includes the Esprit SW platform and 4 analytical instruments: EDS, WDS, EBSD and a micro-spot X-ray sources for Micro-XRF on SEM.
    The successful candidate will be responsible for the definition of a market-leading product strategy for the Esprit software platform and for developing and implementing a product positioning strategy for Quantax EDS products. He will be responsible for managing all aspect of product life cycle of the product from market research, product development to obsolescence.


    Responsibilities

    • Development of overall product vision and product roadmap for EMA products with focus on analytical software platform Esprit and EDS products.
    • Definition and implementation of market relevant product specifications and delivery of MRDs with prioritized features and corresponding financial justifications.
    • Management of PLC process during all phases of product life cycle.
    • Identification of new applications with high growth potential and development of solutions in collaboration with key customers and sales.
    • Gather, evaluate and summarize competitor information and market trends
    • Ensure continuous awareness of competitive developments in the field, including attendance and presentations at customer facing events and internal trainings.
    • Establish and foster relationships with internal stakeholders in R&D, sales and operations with the goal to align and optimize the internal activities. 
    • Plan and coordinate product presentations on trade shows, user conferences etc. in cooperation with marketing, regional sales managers and distributors.
    • Responsibility for the technical content of product-related documents and publications (manuals, brochures, website, advertisements, articles, presentations).
    • Determination of product pricing, generation and maintenance of price lists and standard quotations for product line.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum of 2 years work related experience required. Degree in engineering, natural sciences or business management preferred.
    • Ideally, experience in product management of electron microscope analyzers and/or analytical software platform products.
    • Interdisciplinary technical and economic competencies.
    • Proficient organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast pace environment.
    • Outgoing personality as well as a proven track record in establishing positive, productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. 
    • Strong work ethic, sense of commitment, and a desire to succeed.
    • Advanced verbal communication, initiative, and solid judgment abilities/skills.
    • Self-reliant and systematic work style.
    • Excellent command of English, both written and verbal. German skills are considered a plus.
    • Willingness and ability to travel extensively domestic and overseas (approx. 30 % of the time, usually short trips).
