    • International Service & Support Onsite of FT-IR, NIR and Raman Spectroscopy systems
    • Performs installation, repair and maintenance, diagnostics, update, upgrade, trouble shooting, escalation support.
    • Carry out procedures necessary to validate systems to certifiable standards
    • Customer briefing basic system / application, process integration of analytical instruments
    • Networking of analytical instruments with optional software solutions and their implementation into existing laboratory information systems
    • Application basic user instruction about systems and application software
    • Helpdesk and escalation support inhouse / onsite
    • Provide technical, software and application related support and assistance to customers and to colleagues, either directly or by remote diagnosis.
    • Training on the job for new employees
    • Support to the creation of service documentation


    • Successful completed professional training / study in the electronic and medical engineering
    • Work experience in field service (min. 2 years)
    • Comprehensive technical expertise in electronics and mechanics ideally in optics
    • Expertise in FT-IR, NIR-Raman spectroscopy, Remote Sensing, Microscopy and laboratory organization is preferably
    • Safe handling of all standard PC operating systems and networks. Good computer literacy, including familiarity with data system hardware and industry standard operating systems.
    • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels with good spoken and written English
    • Enjoyment of an independent and flexible work.
    • Organizational skills with ability to work independently, prioritize, multi-task, follow through, and meet deadlines within an entrepreneurial and customer-focused work environment
    • Customer focused, passionate about science and technology, and eager to enable customers with Bruker technology.
    • Solution expertise and willingness to accept responsibility
    • Outgoing and good at building relationships through inspiring trust and confidence
    • Self-motivation and a willingness to work with others toward a shared goal
