    Responsibilities

    Position Summary:

    The Executive Assistant to the VP of Sales will be responsible to provide high-level support on a variety of tasks and to monitor and organize high volumes of inquiries from the international sales offices.  At the same time the successful candidate will demonstrate prioritization and time management skills to balance the execution of high volume complex assignments. Furthermore the Executive Assistant will serve as a contributing member of the team, providing perspective and critical thinking skills, inspiring and challenging the VP of Sales and MRS Management team to develop creative solutions.

    Essential duties and responsibilities:

    • Manages general MRS VP Sales and Sales Management  tasks and workflows, with a strong sense of urgency and the ability to work independently, while keeping momentum on time sensitive projects
    • Manages business schedules, travel, professional commitments and activities, keeping the VP and MRS Sales Management up to speed and aware of new items,
    • Keeps the VP of Sales and Sales Management abreast of critical decisions to be made or deadlines to meet,
    • Researches, collects and analyzes information and data in order to keep MRS Sales team focused on important metrics, respond to inquiries and prepare for presentations and meetings/events; coordinate meetings in absence of the VP Sales
    • Arranges meetings and events
    • Creates regular reports, analyses, and metrics to present to Sales Management and in close interaction with finance Business Partner
    • Assists with the implementation of initiatives and programs to ensure strategic objectives as well as booking and revenue goals are met
    • Acts as a central point of coordination for the global Sales Organization
    • Maintains good relationships with Sales teams, Marketing / MarCom, Finance Business Partner and Commercial Controlling, Commercial Operations etc.

    Qualifications

    Required Education and/or experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics or related field
    • A minimum of 5 years of administrative experience supporting the Sales organization in a similar role or at the leadership level in a fast-paced, international and complex sales and management environment
    • Proven track record of active contribution to continuous improvement of sales performance and sales productivity with a worldwide sales team
    • Ability to work independently and used to work without direct onsite supervision and with teams in several geographic regions
    • Demonstrates sound judgement, discretion and preserves confidentiality
    • Strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to tactfully and effectively communicate at all levels
    • Ability to balance the big picture while ensuring attention to details
    • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, SAP, sharepoint and all Microsoft packages
    • Flexible to work in non-business hours and travel internationally as well as able to operate in different work conditions such as on-site and off-site
    • Language: tri lingual English – French - German

    This position is based in Wissembourg, as the VP Sales is primarily located in this office.  The ability to work independently, using insight and critical thinking skills, is an important element for a successful partnership.

    Effective decision making and trouble-shooting skills are essential.
