    • Educate our customers in appropriate use and operation of highly complex, sophisticated instrumentation. 
    • Coordinates with customers via remote sessions, phone support, and lab facility inspection for new installations, as well as operation and maintenance of existing systems.
    • Install new equipment and retrofit hardware and software upgrades.
    • Track, record and collate data that reflects system performance.
    • Perform preventive / scheduled maintenance and trouble shooting on instruments.
    • Diagnose problems by in-depth troubleshooting and provide service for repair of these instruments.
    • Provide on-site installation, testing and customer training of FTIR, FT-NIR and Raman Systems
    • Participate in factory training courses, updates on features, software of new and existing products.
    • Communicate and work closely with service/support centers.
    • Must be willing and able to travel on a frequent/regular basis, both domestically and internationally.
    • Develop and maintain a congenial rapport with all customers in assigned territory by providing support and positively representing Bruker.
    • Promote and sell service contracts and other service related products


    • Qualification in electronics, engineering or industry-related field.
    • Several years’ experience in repair of capital equipment would be an advantage. Experience in the field of analytical instrumentation preferred (e.g. Analysis for Quality and Process Control, or Material Research).
    • Demonstrated capabilities to assure good customer relations through communication skills.
    • Demonstrate the ability to effectively use hand tools, meters, scopes, and other specialised equipment.
    • Must be organised, detail-oriented and self-starter.
    • At least 3 years’ experience in field service or similar industry.
    • Possession of a current driver’s license and passport is required.
    • Great attitude and a professional appearance.
    • Ability to work independently and exhibit excellent time management skills.
