Bruker is looking for an Optical Engineer to design and integrate optical elements of the Atomic Force Microscope (AFM) product lines. The Optical Engineer works closely with the hardware and software teams to develop the overall optical systems architecture and implement this in our next generation products. The responsibilities include design, develop, build and test of robust, modular optical systems for our portfolio of AFM products. This individual will be involved in all aspects of the product development process from concept to commercialization (e.g.: technology research, proof-of-concept, design, analysis, characterization, optimization and documentation).
This position will work primarily on optical systems or sub-systems, their design, development and integration with the overall product.
