    Job duties will include the following tasks:

    • verification and authentication of accounts documentation
    • upkeep of general ledgers, journal adjustments, accruals, pre-payments, etc.
    • recording and posting cash receipts
    • calculation of stock and WIP figures
    • preparation of monthly payments schedules
    • inter-Company and Group transactions
    • production of monthly management statements
    • production of monthly and quarterly US GAAP Group reports
    • production of monthly and quarterly cash forecasts
    • preparation of year end figures for annual audit
    • annual P11D reporting
    • Point of Contact for SOX and Internal audit and auditors
    • any other duties reasonably expected in a busy multi-company multi-currency accounts department.

    All duties will be carried out in a timely fashion to meet internally and externally imposed submission deadlines, and to a high standard of accuracy and presentation



    • a recognised accounting qualification to at least AAT Technician
    • no visa or other restriction preventing travel in the USA or EU.

    Skills and Experience

    • relevant experience gained in the accounts office of a modern enterprise operating in a highly competitive market, with hands-on experience of all ledgers
    • an enquiring and analytical mind, with a solid grasp of the underlying principles of accountancy
    • advanced spreadsheet and basic word-processing skills (MS-Excel and MS-Word)
    • accuracy, thoroughness, attention to detail and the ability to work to a deadline
    • self-motivation, with an ability to motivate others
    • a mature disposition with the ability to make a reasoned decision based on Company guidelines and acceptable practice
    • a good command of the English language coupled with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
