    New opportunity for a Senior Revenue Accountant to join the Bruker Finance and Accounting Team based in Billerica, MA.  Will hold primary responsibility for the global revenue accounting function.

    • The Senior Revenue Accountant serves as a key partner to the Director of Technical Accounting on matters related to revenue accounting generated by the global divisions.
    • Prepares analyses, reconciliations and other revenue related schedules on monthly basis.
    • Ensures the consistent practice and application of the Company’s revenue accounting policies, with particular attention to areas requiring judgment and estimates, and provides clear and balanced recommendations to address important accounting and finance matters.
    • Serves as subject matter expert regarding revenue accounting. Works closely and communicates effectively with business and corporate partners in Corporate Accounting; Group / Division finance teams to ensure that information and support needs are consistently met.
    • Responsible for maintaining appropriate financial internal controls related to revenue recognition, as well as provide input on how to appropriately test revenue controls.
    • Understands the business and is responsive to the needs of operating business partners. Recommends and implements improvements, as needed.
    • Ensures implementation of and compliance with US GAAP revenue recognition matters. Provides data for external and internal auditors.
    • Performs a leadership role in making the revenue accounting function more efficient and effective.
    • Leads or supports initiatives to successful completion, capable of enlisting resources and managing teams of employees from different functions or organizations to ensure proper revenue accounting.
    • Perform other duties as required.


    • Bachelor degree in Accounting or equivalent required. CPA highly desirable.
    • Minimum 3 years public accounting audit work experience or 5 years industry work experience plus minimum 2 years of revenue recognition work experience.
    • Strong experience with working knowledge of SAP ERP.  Experience with BPC, or a similar financial reporting tool (i.e. Hyperion, Cognos) is preferred.  
    • Advanced working knowledge of US accounting and auditing regulations and accounting policies and practices related to revenue.  Unquestioned integrity in the application of such standards.
    • Strong business acumen and judgment with proven ability to think strategically about business issues.
    • Effective at driving change and managing cross functional relationships to achieve desired results.
    • Maintains effective external industry and professional network.
    • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, global environment, and capable of gaining commitment and coordinated action for initiatives. 
    • Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical, proposal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills, advanced technology skills and proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint. 
    • Excellent at workload prioritization, resource management, and project management. Develops and manages effective and efficient processes.
    • Proven ability to partner and work effectively in a complex, global environment including capability of gaining commitment and coordinated action for initiatives. Maintains effective working relationships across the company and with all parties.
    • Possesses competencies critical to Bruker, including Finance Expertise, Collaboration, Teamwork, Influence, Communication, Drive for Results, Business Insight, Project Management, Process Improvement, Business Partnering and Constructive  Analysis.
    • English language fluency required; knowledge of additional languages desirable (Spanish, German, Mandarin).
    • Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state required.

    • U.S. Citizenship or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.

    • Maintenance of a valid passport with flexibility for global travel.

    • May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
