    The Bruker Microbiology and Diagnostic business area covers diverse lines of market-leading products serving microbiology and diagnostic industry, including the MALDI Biotyper, the IR Biotyper, molecular diagnostic kits and antibiotic resistance and specialty susceptibility testing platform. The MALDI Biotyper  is a revolutionary product which uses Mass spectrometry to produce rapid, accurate and cost effective bacterial identifications. The National Sales Manager will be responsible for all sales activities for the microbiology marketplace in mainland China. In this role they will be responsible managing a sales team. Provide guidance and mentorship for sales representatives to build and manage their sales pipeline in order to meet and exceed their objectives for both revenue and customer satisfaction. 


      • Develop and implement effective sales strategies for North China region
      • Manage/support Bruker partners’ sales activities and channel
      • Meet and exceed sales target for the responsible region
      • Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
      • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts
      • Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities
      • Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
      • Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency
      • Stay up-to-date with new product launches and coordinate sales/marketing activities in the responsible region
      • Use and curation of CRM system for opportunity, lead follow-up and revenue tracking
      • Effective manage business and travel expenses

    • Sales experience in China IVD market, microbiology knowledge is a plus
    • Channel management experience
    • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills
    • Strong communication skills
    • Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude
    • Team player
    • Availability to travel as needed




    Education and/or Experience:


    BA/BS degree in relevant scientific fields (microbiology, biology, chemistry)

    Minimum of 5 years sales experience in medical device, diagnostic or relevant field

    Computer Skills:


    Microsoft Office and Outlook including ability to work with advanced applications for EXCEL.      




     Other Skills and Abilities:                                               


    • Excellent verbal, written, computer and technical communication and presentation skills.
    • Fluent in English.
    • Self- motivated individual who is excited about new challenges and opportunity to effect/drive substantial changes in current testing processes.    
    • Analytical ability in order to diagnosis business problems and propose appropriate solutions.
    • Clinical microbiology knowledge or diagnostic industry experience in is a plus.
