    • Act as primary technical liaison between US factory and CM.
      • Ensure communication to and from CM is clear and accurate
      • Provide real-time production support to CM for all quality, manufacturing, and supplier issues.
      • Lead and manage CM local activities related to product transition from US factory to CM factory.
    • Complete training for assembly, test, and troubleshooting of products at US factory.
    • Perform inline and end of line inspection of product to ensure quality and performance.
    • Audit manufacturing processes and procedures of CM as required.
    • Audit sub-tier suppliers for quality and performance metrics as defined.
    • Resolve production issues by determining root cause through FMEA.
    • Ensure tooling and test fixtures are maintained and utilized effectively.
    • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement that result in cost savings, improved quality, improved reliability, or reduction in lead-times.
    • Develop and maintain Manufacturing Documentation related to assembly and test of product.
    • Ensure Engineering Changes initiated by US factory are communicated clearly to CM and action plan for implementation is developed and executed effectively and timely by CM.
    • Create Engineering Change Requests and submit to US factory as required.
    • Support automated and semi-automated test fixtures owned by Bruker and located at CM.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision
    • Conduct testing and troubleshooting with a systematic approach and organize the testing results for presentation to others.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Typical percentages, actual may vary month to month):Production Support – 40%Process Improvements – 10%



    • Engineering Documentation – 20%
    • Product Transition – 30%
    • Other duties as assigned.






    Training in, or experience with design engineering, Design For Manufacturing, Manufacturing Process & Routings, Design for Assembly, Design & Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis, Reliability & Value Engineering, and new product release required. Fluency in Microsoft Office products desired.   2+ years experience with Solid Edge CAD design or equivalent 3-D modeling software desired.  Familiarity with GD&T principles and their application.



    Candidates should have a Masters plus 3 years of experience in related field or a BS in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or equivalent plus 5 years of experience in related field.
