    Job Description:


    The function of the Service Manager Bruker Optics China is to lead, manage and guide the full service team of Bruker Optics in China with full responsibility for best expertise of the service team but also to drive the commercial aspects of the service business and its growth potentials



    • Leading, managing and guiding the service team Bruker Optics in China with the support of the team leaders service for North and South territory.
    • Maintain the high level of service expertise and to evaluate opportunities for further development
    • Close collaboration with the different business stake holders and the HQ
    • Establish service as a business in China
    • Develop service business with a technical and commercial mindset
    • Develop skills and know how in the service team
    • Improve and adapt processes and guidelines in alignment with HQ
    • Develop monthly and quarterly reporting in alignment with HQ
    • Establish SAP-CRM as a service platform
    • Build up a personal relationship with key customers
    • Work closely with sales and operation team to support China business growth
    • Encouraging team member to achieve target with positive attitude
    • improve customer satisfaction and customer loyalty



    • A tertiary level qualification in electrical or electronic engineering, physics or a related discipline or be able to demonstrate a similar level of knowledge and skill gained by practical experience
    • Minimum 6 years’ work experience managing a service team active for analytical instruments, scientific instruments, electromechanical and/or electronic equipment.
    • Strong technical skills involving analytical instrumentation.
    • Strong leadership skills and communication skills with different disciplines
    • Strong verbal, written, MS Office, computer, technical data, and networking communication and presentation skills, with ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.
    • Excellent organizational skills with ability to work independently, prioritize, multi-task, follow through, and meet deadlines within an entrepreneurial and customer-focused work environment.
    • Expertise in FT-IR spectroscopy, NIR-Raman technology, Remote Sensing, Microscopy and laboratory organization is advantageous
