Lead focused sales activities into pharma, biopharma, and pharma CRO accounts. The objective of this role is to develop and grow our MS business in the pharma/biopharma market through intensive sales focus and account management.
Manage, organize, and drive sales efforts in the specified region for pharma/biopharma (PBP)
Drive sales activities in the specified region for the PBP market in order to meet or exceed defined NOB volume.
Create and implement a tactical plan to identify and prioritize accounts based on opportunity and alignment with Bruker’s MS solutions for pharma. This will include the preparation and management of a schedule for regular meetings with key accounts.
Develop and support reference sites that can be used to help promote our solutions in the PBP markets.
Act as the functional sales leader as part of a ‘Tiger-Team’ to provide pre-sales support and demand creation. The sales leader will set the priorities and activities of the supporting ‘Tiger-Team’ to drive new business
Liaise and support the regional generalist sales team as they provide additional sales support and coverage. This will include the free exchange of information and updates on all relevant leads and opportunities.
Coordinate and direct lead generation campaigns through localized marketing events (e.g. Lunch & Learns, etc.) and participation at conferences and local discussion groups.
Ensure that the sales process works smoothly from the lead generation and qualification, sales funnel management, demo set-up, closing, placement of instruments, etc.
Communicates regularly with Sr. Management and provides a detailed monthly report of activities performed, along with an accurate monthly sales forecast, (Anticipated POs for that specific rolling 3 month period) and also a separate, annual, units/product mix forecast for production and business planning, NOB statistics and competitive information and won / lost POs.
Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology or related discipline or equivalent experience required. Advanced degree and/or business degree is a plus.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience, with demonstrated success, in sales into the pharma market and sales management of sellers of capital equipment
Computer Skills in WIN, Office, Outlook, CRM Tools.
Unencumbered driving license.
Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal skills, and demonstrated ability to work in a team environment;
Excellent presentation and organization skills.
Ability to decide priorities in a rapidly changing commercial environment.
