    The Bruker Nano Analytics (BNA) Division, headquartered at Bruker Nano GmbH in Berlin, Germany, develops, manufactures and markets X-ray systems and components for elemental and structural analysis on the micro- and nano-scale. We are currently looking to fill the open position of the Technical Support Lead Asia.  This position will report in to Director, Worldwide Service Organisation.



    • As a senior member of the service team, you will be responsible for delivering world class service to meet customer and business requirements, and share responsibility and accountability for the success of the company, while meeting technical and financial performance targets.
    • Become system level expert on Bruker Nano Analytics Instrumentation and associated applications
    • Perform system installations, onsite repairs, provide basic/advanced applications trainings to the end customers and to the partner engineers
    • Provide advanced technical troubleshooting support to the team members and partner engineers across the region and be the travel expert for the region as needed
    • Support Asian team and co-ordinate install/service related visits, manage escalations and regional customer care centre, and assure consistency of performance standard within the region
    • Take ownership to implement business processes to improve efficiency of the team and to have clear customer records
    • Monitor KPI's as needed and publishes monthly & quarterly reports
    • Increase Service program penetration by supporting service and cross functional teams as needed
    • Other duties as assigned



    • Ability to experiment, test, diagnose, troubleshoot complex cutting edge electro-mechanical and computerized systems
    • Solid theoretical understanding of physics and electronics to enable problem solving of complex system and application issues.
    • Ability to lead and coach the team.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication in English and presentation skills with MS office proficiency. Mandarin proficiency is beneficial.
    • Customer interaction and training skills.
    • Ability to multitask & team player.
    • Self-sufficient in computer/networking skills necessary to analyze and summarize data
    • Hand's on EDS, EBSD, uXRF, WDS etc. instrumentation experience is beneficial
    • Able to travel both domestically and internationally as needed on short notice

    1. Minimum Bachelors degree or Master of Science/PhD, in Engineering, Physics, or other scientific degree.
