    New opportunity for a R2R Business Process Architect based in Warsaw, Poland to coordinate with Bruker businesses on the delivery and hands-on execution of harmonized processses and a culture of continuous improvement.  The “Business Process Organization (BPO)” exists at Bruker Corporation to converge and govern business processes across Groups and Divisions.


    The R2R Business Architect serves as a point of contact for the businesses in regards to the overall Record to Report process system requirements.  The role uses an end-to-end, process-driven approach in determining how Record to Report process requirements are implemented within the businesses. This position plays a significant part in designing and harmonizing system specifications to satisfy on-going business needs in support of related Record to Report issues. Together, with the relevant business process specialists, they deliver detail specifications to the Business System Organization (BSO) team for design realization within the system environment.


    • Support the Head, BPO Record to Report to develop the vision on the future end state of global R2R processes and supporting systems.
    • Lead requirements gathering and/or design workshops for complex, cross-functional business process transformation projects.
    • Define end-to-end R2R process to drive efficiency and effectiveness and the cross-functional groups supporting customer engagements.
    • Drive business initiatives to engage users, inspire and empower them to provide input into process change.
    • Work with the Global IT team to ensure that the service levels for end user support are being met: assist End Users to resolve routine problems, identifying root causes of quality problems and proposing sustainable solutions. Support training for new and modified business processes as required.
    • Identify areas of improvement to increase accuracy, completeness and/or consistency across the company.
    • Define benefits and success metrics related to the R2R business transformation activities.
    • Provide business process expertise in order to relate to and build upon existing R2R processes.
    • Collaborate with technical resources to design technical solutions that meet the needs of the global organization and determine where deviations due to local practices are required.
    • Conduct analysis and partners with business stakeholders to support continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Lead assigned improvement projects, using the prescribed methodology and tools. Fulfill project goals/objectives as identified by management.
    • Large workshop facilitation.
    • Conduct data collection, analysis, requirements documentation, and KPI activities surrounding improvement opportunities and deployments.
    • Change management and communication planning and delivery.
    • Train, coach, and mentor champions, sharing expertise and lessons learned to ensure successful project deployment and completion.
    • Executive presentations.
    • Educate business team members on core R2R business finance processes and system functionality.

    • Works with the SERI program, consultants, Bruker Competency Center, and project managers to develop and manage scope, assign and schedule business resources, monitor deliverable progress and escalate issues.

    • Identifies current state of end-to-end process, as well as gather and assess business requirements for harmonizing process.

    • Lead business fit analysis, identify gaps, scope of change and review alternatives.

    • Consults with IT and/or technical consultants for quality of technical/solution design and scope changes.

    • Manages scope and impact of proposed new business requirements as well as end user expectations with respect to process and system functionality.

    • Identifies and oversees testing and training requirements, approves test scenarios and supports business teams for training initiatives.

    • Assesses business operational project risk and takes appropriate mitigation actions according to risk management process.

    • Active management of continuous process improvement: Discuss the impact of the changes under evaluation with the involved business owners. Deliver detailed requirements to technical organizations for implementation. Escalate risks and issues to as needed to Head Record to Report, BPO. Identifies and drives change management issues.

    • Perform other duties as required.


    Bruker is seeking an innovative and experienced R2R Business Process Architect with a rich background in defining Record-to-Report processes, in a SAP environment. In this role, you will liaise with diverse cross-functional teams to define business process and drive business process transformation activities globally. This role requires technical acumen and solid business finance understanding as well as a collaborative approach.

    •  BA/BS in Accounting (or equivalent). Master’s degree or MBA a strong plus
    • Proven advanced business acumen in global operations and R2R areas
    • Strong business acumen with minimum 2 years work experience plus Record to Report experience and functional understanding of operations from corporate, regional and local perspective
    • Demonstrated ability to train, teach, or coach business professionals
    • Proven problem solving skills
    • Experience with change management and root cause analysis techniques 
    • Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment
    • Self-motivated to operate in an independent and collaborative mode
    • Demonstrated working knowledge of end to end Record to Report flows from collecting and processing to delivering relevant, timely and accurate information.
    • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills; communicates effectively with diverse people at various organization levels with the right level of detail and cultural sensitivity.
    • Flexible and open to new ideas with the ability to understand issues from corporate, regional and local perspective while maintaining Customer focus.
    • Ability to decompose complex processes into sub-processes with strong analytical and problem solving skills.

    • Demonstrated organizational agility, including work experience in collaboration within a matrix-managed environment and across multiple and diverse groups.
