    The MALDI Biotyper, known throughout the microbiology-related industries, is our workhorse for identification of bacteria, fungi and yeast. Besides our well known MALDI solutions, we are increasing our capability in resistance and AST testing as well as PCR.

    As we are expanding our Microbiology & Diagnostics team in the EMEA-region, we are looking for a new team player!


    As our International Distributor Manager EMEA, your main responsibilities will be to maintain the relationship with our existing distributors and business partner and find new possibilities to increase our market penetration within the clinical & industrial markets.

    Specifically, your tasks will include:

    • Creating and maintaining relationships with distributors, taking ownership of joint business planning and market execution
    • Contributing to marketing activities such as composing advertisements and mailings.
    • Give support at arranging exhibitions and seminars at conferences
    • Developing annual business plans, driving Bruker initiatives, aligning, setting and tracking Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through our group of Distribution Partners and Business partners by promoting thought leadership management systems
    • Monitoring sales progress against business plans; and coaching business partners to execute with excellence


    • Masters or Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Life or Analytical Science (Chemistry, Biology, Pharmacy or equivalent)
    • Outstanding sales experience and track record within the clinical and/or industrial market
    • Demonstrated excellence in sales with the ability to teach, develop, and coach others on selling skills
    • 4+ years’ experience displaying dynamic leadership skills to manage and motivate third party sales teams preferred
    • Distributor and Supplier experience preferred
    • Strong analytical and financial acumen to understand and manage back end financial planning systems
    • Clear and proven ability to develop and implement successful sales and marketing strategies
    • Must be extremely proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Excellent negotiator and communication skills, including presentation and training ability
    • Entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, strategic mindset to take initiative and consult with DP in joint business planning is a must
    • Well organized and able to decide priorities in a rapidly changing commercial environment
    • Willingness to work with others toward a shared goal
    • A high standard of verbal and written German and English is a requirement, French would be desirable
    • Valid Driver’s License
