  • Overview

     

    Develop and increase sales of Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy solutions, within the European Pharmaceutical market, in close coordination with the market and product management teams.

    Deliver end-to-end solutions to customers in the Pharmaceutical industry and position Bruker as a value added supplier.

    Achieve and deliver annual and quarterly growth in new order bookings, revenue, and brand image according to the annual and quarterly objectives, focusing on new customers and accounts.

    This is a role with a European territory.

    Responsibilities

    • Grow new order bookings and revenue within Europe with the identified new customers and accounts for all Pharmaceutical solutions.
    • Build sustainable business partnerships with new customers in the Pharmaceutical industry, especially in new market segments not yet served by the Bruker Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS) Division.
    • Successfully articulate and present the value proposition of the different products and solutions, at all levels, including C-suite / executive customer level.
    • Understand the customer’s value chain, critical success factors, and key initiative based on which the account plan and sales strategy is developed. Communicate how Bruker’s magnetic resonance products and solutions address customer’s needs.
    • Proactively introduce new solutions to new customers and adjacent market segments within the pharmaceutical market.
    • Actively contribute and drive lead generation and qualification. Nurture qualified leads toward budget definition, offer definition and contract negotiation. Manage opportunities and close deals in adjacent market segments.
    • Study and be the business expert on all aspects of the Pharmaceutical market, including technology development, business opportunities, government policy and industrial regulations, in order to promote sales of Bruker's NMR and EPR solutions to Pharmaceutical adjacent markets, in close collaboration with BBIO MRS regional sales manager and pharma market management.
    • Negotiate and close sales contracts for new customers and adjacent markets, following the processes defined by the MRS sales organization.
    • Work closely with divisional product development and market management teams. Support business operations, marketing communications, service engineers and application specialists to complete the delivery, installation and payment procedures.

    Qualifications

    Experience and Education

    • Extensive working experience in pharmaceutical or related industry.
    • Sound background in analytical technology, ideally with knowledge of NMR or EPR spectrometers, related accessories and solutions.
    • Master degree/PhD in chemistry, pharmacy, related disciplines or equivalent working experience.
    • Experience of sales, account management, business growth, lead generation and nurturing is highly desirable.

    Computer Skills and Abilities

    • Excellent verbal, written, computer, technical, and proposal communication and presentation skills, in English and ideally at least in one of the languages of the designated region.

    • Highly self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic and demonstrated excitement for new challenges and opportunity.
    • Team player. Proven success in working in a global, multi–cultural organization. Is comfortable with ambiguity and thrives on new challenges.

    Work Environment

    • Proven flexibility with ability to prioritize and manage differing time constraints. Able to focus, align and adapt to business goals.
    • Ability to maintain valid passport with flexibility for extensive international travel.
    • No visa or other restriction regarding living/working in the UK and EU.
    • Valid driver license in good standing.
    • May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
