    Under the direction of Engineering Director or Principal Engineer or Senior Engineer, this role is responsible for the design of PC Boards and corresponding interconnect cables.



    • Create electrical schematics and PCB layouts for improved close loop control and advanced crash protection. Prepare plug-n-play for the balance of older accessories. Provide debugging of same. Provide documentation to Tucson  for the UMT. Source components for specials. Provide selection criteria and choices for new electrical panels and connectors. Check documentation from outsourcing partners. Provide electrical design support for customer specials. Provide assistance for the Multimode project for AFMi(70%)
    • Provide electronics support for specials.  (30%)



    • Hardware troubleshooting
    • Maintain and present status reports on scheduled projects
    • Performs engineering assignments related to design and analysis of electrical systems.





    While performing his duties, an employee must seat, stand, walk, use hands and fingers to operate computer equipment and manufactured equipment.




    1. Advanced knowledge of and experience in electrical circuit design.
    2. Proficiency with mechanical PCB  software.
    3. Strong communication, verbal, and writing skills, proficiency in documenting the plans, designs, and solutions.
    4. Excellent problem solving skills
    5. Works with a high degree of precision and attention to detail.



    A B.S. in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience, M.S. is preferred.

    Requires 6+ years of experience in electrical design.

    Should be hard working, team oriented, creative, cooperative, and good in problem solving.
