To deliver impactful pre-sales and after-sales application support for AIC’s Time Domain-Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (TD-NMR) and Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) product solutions in AIC’s Southeast Asia markets (see list below) in close cooperation with the benchtop NMR/EPR sales team.
To ensure that AIC’s benchtop NMR/EPR distribution partners are at all times updated on the solution portfolio and trained to successfully represent AIC in the market and contribute to the business growth.
To closely partner with existing and targeted Key Account Customers (technical buying center thereof) in order to shorten the sales cycle to close a Design-in and to help identify new and scalable business opportunities which capitalize on the existing AIC’s product portfolio or AIC’s technologies and core capabilities (TD-NMR and EPR product solutions).
To support the AIC Distribution Manager Southeast Asia SEA in ensuring SLS-Southeast Asia (SEA) is self-sufficient through regular trainings of the AIC’s solutions portfolio.
To feedback new market or customer requirements to the AIC Benchtop Applications Development team and Benchtop NMR/EPR Product Management in an actable way.
Due to the nature of this job’s tasks and responsibilities, a travel time of up to 60% will be required.

Pre-Sales support and After Sales support

3. Works closely with PM (EPR, TD-NMR) on one hand and with SLS-SEA on the other hand to define a concept for Installation and After-Sales-Support that SLS-SEA becomes gradually self-sufficient. Delivers in near term After Sales Support for level 2 Applications (TD, EPR) and selected level 1 Applications according to AIC After Sales Support Concept draft.
4. The FAS will support the TQM CAPA 1 and CAPA 2 escalation process when required. This will include testing, verification, validation of R&D or service related revisions made to software or hardware products in the area of the FAS specialty (i.e., TD-NMR, EPR).

Furthermore, due to the nature of the role, working hours can be irregular and extensive travel is an essential part of the job. There is also a requirement to travel to Germany during the first three months of employment to undergo initial training and then at least one annual trip to oversees thereafter.

Applications Scientists have to be able to keep the instruments in good operating condition. This includes maintenance, troubleshooting and to some extent repair. The employee will have to travel extensively.
