New opportunity based in Billerica MA for a Regional Sales Manager of Services & Lifecycle Support to promote, sell and grow the Bruker BioSpin Service Business throughout the Americas Region.  Will provide and achieve targets and goals to develop and grow the Service Business unit to maximize volume and profitability. Will also assist instrument sales by maintaining and developing effective, working customer relationships via valued service products.

  • Focus on leveraging e-store sales and its product range
  • Maintain and grow the Service Contract business for all product groups in BBIO in the assigned sales territory.
  • Promote and sell service products as offered by Bruker BioSpin to all existing and new customers.
  • Evaluate needs and negotiate contracts directly with key accounts or indirectly with 3rd Party Service Providers subject to chart of authority.
  • Develop existing and build new customer relationships ensuring Bruker is seen as a long-term business partner.
  • Develop proposal for sales campaigns for specific service products and markets/customers and align campaigns with the Global Sales Manager Services & Lifecycle Support
  • After approval, prepare and roll-out of this campaigns with local sales teams, monitor and track execution
  • Report on a regular base on the success of this campaigns
  • Monitor changes or developments within the industry and report to management
  • Assist marketing and service sales teams with guidance and support
  • Other duties as assigned that are broadly in line with the above and key objectives.
  • Perform other duties as required. 


This position reports to the Global VP Sales Services & Lifecycle Support for BBIO, who will provide support, align expectations, offer guidance with individual cases, and provide framework support (if required). Close co-operation and teamwork is required with colleagues at Bruker sites worldwide. 

The normal work place is a Bruker location / office. However, required to regularly attend training, team meetings, and sales events. Flexible schedule and extensive domestic and international travel are required. 

It will be required to travel on company business anywhere in the assigned territory, including, but not limited to, making visits to customers, clients or suppliers of the business, and attending training courses.



  • Minimum 5 years successful sales management work experience directly developing, driving, and closing sales in service or instrumentation within a life sciences, medical, engineering, or science work environment.
  • Demonstrated financial business acumen with ability to build a business case.
  • A very high degree of understanding business processes and ability to discuss and persuade at all levels of an organization.
  • Hands-on knowledge and experience promoting and selling after-sales support.
  • Advanced computer literacy for document, presentation preparation and report writing
  • Excellent interpersonal communication (both written and oral) skills in English
  • Proven strength in negotiating and closing business agreements.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build positive and productive work relationships with people at all levels.
  • Highly self- motivated individual with a strong work ethic, experience with high performance teams in a global, multi-cultural organization, and demonstrated excitement for new challenges and opportunity.
  • Proven ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and positive business relationships.
  • Demonstrated flexibility with ability to prioritize and manage differing time constraints. 
  • Proven ability to maintain valid passport with flexibility for up to 50% international travel.
  • Current valid driver license issued by state of residence.
