Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Payroll Manager, the Payroll & Stock Plan Administrator will assist in processing all aspects of a bi-weekly, multi-state payroll for approximately 1,100 non-union employees.  In addition, the position will act as the stock plan administrator and be responsible for accurately maintaining equity plan records, processing grants and government filings. 

 

Data Management

  • Process timecards and worksheets to ensure accurate and timely running of payroll
  • Ensure accuracy of payroll records by maintaining database with updates in status changes, tax withholdings, benefits deductions, time off accruals, etc.
  • Create and provide manual checks when necessary
  • Provide training to employees on UltiPro payroll system
  • Main contact for employee verification.
  • Perform frequent audits between systems to ensure information is captured correctly in UltiPro: deduction records for 401k, stock gains reported as earnings, etc.


Other areas worked on are but are not limited to : new hires, terminations, status changes, tax changes, deductions, direct deposits, time sheet data, rate changes, retroactive adjustments and special pays; coordinates with HR Benefits regarding  vacation, sick leave and worker's compensation records; compiles reports on base and premium pay; prepares tax files for 3rd party processing; generates and distributes checks; and researches and produces special reports as requested from various individuals and departments.  

 

General Stock Plan Administration

  • Maintain Stock Plan database, add new participants, upload new grants to current participants, terminate participants who have left Bruker.
  • Work closely with Compensation team ensuring all new participants and annual grant awards are process accurately and timely.
  • Ensure all proper SEC filings for Executive Team is process within the appropriate timeframe.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Business or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years’ progressive work experience within a public company work environment coordinating Payroll and Stock Plan activities, service, and support.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, with emphasis on Excel.
  • Proven experience utilizing Payroll Systems such as ADP and Ultipro.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of stock plan administration preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational and time management skills
  • Solid organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi task in a demanding environment.
  • Should be flexible to work at any given point in time and should be ready to work in a team environment
  • Should have a strong passion and desire to learn new things constantly and adapt to these changes
  • Should be able to maintain effective working relationship with other stakeholders and partners
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English (written and oral)
  • Proven customer service skills while maintaining a confidential work environment
