Utilizing Accounts Payable knowledge and experience this individual will be responsible for supporting the Senior Manager, Accounting overseeing the entire function for Bruker Regional Finance Americas and a variety of other accounting and general commercial business tasks.

  • Support the Senior Manager, Accounting in the supervision and management of the Accounts Payable function of the Regional Finance Shared Services
  • Review and approve all payment processes, including wires, ACH, credit card and checks
  • Assist in the monthly inter/intra-company reconciliation of invoice balances and provides the necessary intercompany trade activity information to the Treasury department
  • Oversee the team in responding to vendor inquiries, with follow for inquiry resolution
  • Ensure AP compliance with various internal controls
  • Act as the administrator of the Concur expense reporting system and perform audit of submitted expenses to ensure they are in accordance with company policies
  • Support the Senior Manager, Accounting in the oversight of the company’s credit card programs (CTA, P-card and T&E cards)
  • Support the Senior Manager, Accounting in the maintenance of vendor records and updates vendor master data
  • Support and participate in the hiring process of accounts payable staff
  • Ensure Accounts Payable staff is cross-trained and maintains desktop procedures.
  • Maintain vendor invoice files – paper or electronic
  • Collects W9’s and verifies tax IDs for vendors and generates 1099’s for IRS reporting.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly review and annual audits
  • Special projects as assigned.
  • Assist with providing guidance to members of the Accounts Payable team.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the applicable laws and organization’s policies.
  • Provide assistance to the AP Manager with interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work assignments; conducting annual performance appraisals; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing problems and resolving concerns.
  • Perform other duties as required.


  • High school diploma or equivalent experience, university or college degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years Accounts Payable work experience with recent project or team leadership responsibility.
  • Concur Administrator experience is strongly preferred
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, SAP (preferred but not required)
  • Must be detail oriented and process work accurately
  • Proven ability to handle large volume of processing and data management
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and train accounts payable team
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of individuals, inside and outside the organization, in a tactful and professional manner.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, and computer communication and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, problem solving, collaboration, and internal consulting skills with proven ability to work wth minimal supervision, balance individual and team work volume, and effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Highest standards of business ethics, honesty, and personal integrity.
  • Fluency in English required. Additional language fluency helpful. (German, Mandarin).
  • Valid Driver License in good standing, issued by resident state or governing location.
  • May be required to pass security clearance investigation.
