    Requirements Engineer Magnetic Resonance (f/m) 80-100%

     

    General description

    As a Requirements Engineer you interact with stakeholders in the company, selected customers and partners to establish product requirements - a key input for targeted product development. We understand requirements engineering as a creative, collaborative and continuous process. You are involved in the process to imagine and provide new and innovative magnetic resonance instruments to our customers from the very beginning. In this function you contribute to our success by formalizing customer needs and communicating them to all relevant functions in the organization.

    Responsibilities

    • Drive requirements engineering by applying dedicated methods
    • Administration of requirements
    • Manage iterations on the requirements
    • Respect regulatory aspects, especially for products that shall go into regulated markets
    • Travel activities: 20% of the working time; mainly at Bruker BioSpin locations in Germany and France
    • Training of other employees in the methods of requirements engineering

     

    Qualifications

    • Professional experience in requirements engineering of at least 3 years
    • He/she owns a MSc or PhD in physics, chemistry, medical physics, electrical or mechanical engineering
    • Fluent written and spoken German and English skills (level C2)
    • French language skills are beneficial
    • Analytic thinking, focused and decisive working attitude, highly self-motivated, independent & structured way of working and fast comprehension skills
    • Strong empathy, curiosity and tenacity, open and constructive communication, team player in the organization
    • High degree of identification with the organization and its targets
    • Knowledge of instrumentation, software or applications in NMR, MRI or EPR is a plus
