BNS sales person covering Northern China




  1. Responsible for sales coverage in Northern China ( replace Feizhang , 3.5M region)
  2. Manage the key channel partners in the regional
  3. Meet or exceed all quarterly sales objectives for assigned geographical area
  4. Maintain a significant opportunity pipeline to assure success and on-going growth for the region
  5. Develop and execute strategic and tactical sales plans to achieve short and long term objectives
  6. Develop detailed knowledge of the customers within the region
  7. Develop key relationships (at all appropriate levels) with strategic accounts and distributors
  8. Evaluate and champion emerging and strategic accounts for Bruker-Nano
  9. Assure the highest level of customer engagement and support from Bruker-Nano resources in sales, field applications engineers, marketing, inside sales, customer service, manufacturing sales representatives, distributors, etc.
  10. Oversee the ongoing management of manufacturers sales representatives (these are matrixed relationships) in the region
  11. Coordinate with product marketing on the development of short and long-term sales strategies, product introductions, new products and features, etc.
  12. Establish and manage relationships with cross functional departments within Bruker-Nano for product fulfillment, customer service, pricing, etc.
  13. Provide timely information on competitive activities within the region and overall market place
  14. Attend tradeshows and other marketing events in territory

  1. Oversee the regional weekly sales reporting processes and present information to the Director of North American Sales
  2. Use as a sales tracking and forecasting tool
  3. Travel requirements are approximately 60% of the work time.

  6. Solid understanding of surface measurement techniques, specifically Atomic Force Microscopy, Surface Profiling (stylus and non-contact optical methods) and Tribology Test Equipment.
  7. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interface with internal and external customers and support groups within Bruker-Nano
  8. Experience selling Atomic Force Microscopes, Optical metrology, and Tribology/Nanomechanical test equipment strongly preferred
  9. Highly organized with solid time management & strong multitasking skills
  10. Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  11. Prior experience with multiple sales channels is a PLUS
  12. Knowledge and experience in the markets served by Bruker-Nano is desirable
  13. Proficient use of a CRM ( preferred) is essential
  14. An understanding and experience using Miller-Heiman Strategic and Conceptual selling methodologies is favored



At least Master degree of material or Physics Science or Engineering - 5 years customer support or sales working experience Nanosurface technology
