SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for all logistics of 30+ tradeshows & meetings annually, ranging in size from meeting support with no exhibit to 10’ booths. Applications and maintenance training program coordination. Webinar program management. Literature management. Booth graphic asset management.
Tradeshows: Plan, organize and execute ~30 tradeshow exhibits annually. Work with North American Product Manager to determine booth location, graphics, equipment, furniture, electrical, and multimedia needs. Pack and unpack exhibit crates and trunks. Write booth descriptions, company profiles, and product listings. Communicate tradeshow arrangements to Bruker attendees. Assist with setup, tear-down and booth staffing on an as-needed basis. Occasionally create and send email invites associated with tradeshows.
Training coordination: Administer all Madison-based training classes. Work with course instructors to schedule and execute applications and maintenance classes. Ensure class descriptions are up to date and all dates are current on website. Assist customers with registration, including obtaining quotes and working with Sales Admin team to process new sales orders. Ensure customers receive timely communications regarding their registration.
Webinars: Plan, organize and execute ~10 webinars annually. Work with North American Product Manager to determine dates, content, target audience and promotion. Create and send email invites, maintain registration list and act as host for each webinar.
Performance of this position is critical to Bruker AXS Inc., including reporting to work every day as scheduled, or to make arrangements as far in advance as possible with your supervisor.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or Business Administration
1-3 years in business to business, industrial or technical product marketing and advertising. Experience in tradeshow or special event coordination a plus.
Strong organizational, communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills. Positive, team-oriented attitude.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Basic to mid-level experience with a marketing automation tool such as ActOn, Marketo or similar..
Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management systems, such as SalesLogix, Siebel or SalesForce.com.
Experience with social media marketing a plus.
Ability to participate and contribute as a member of a team.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of individuals, both inside and outside the company, in a professional manner.
Occasional domestic travel required.
Ability to occasionally lift up to 30 lbs, bend, stoop, climb stairs, kneel and reach overhead.
