To improve and further develop BDAL as the major supplier of mass spectrometry systems in the Middle East and East-Africa (MEA) through active sales presence and efficient management of the regional distributors. Reports functionally to the RSM MEA.


  • Manage and optimize a team of distributors and BDAL employees in the region for BDAL’s products and related applications. Control of all related sales and marketing activities to achieve the set goals. Control, manage and appoint any distributor that may be required.
  • Contribute to the overall sales goals and growth by achieving regional quarterly and annual targets. Responsible to set up common sales activities metrics for the team members within the region, to ensure follow up and to fully implement all business processes, procedures and programs.
  • Increase customer awareness about BDAL’s solution by conducting marketing exercises jointly with the sales, marketing and business unit teams such as direct marketing, conference participation, exhibitions, commercial seminars, personnel visits with customers etc. to win subsequent sales. Suitable conference targets to be researched and proposed for the annual Global BDAL Marketing Plan, budgets to be agreed with the RSM MEA.
  • Ensure highest professional relationship with our customer base to achieve customer loyalty and escalate issues if necessary to solve critical tasks in the fastest way possible. Identify and map the opinion leaders and influence groupings in the target market. Build relationships with key decision makers.
  • Identify funding sources and funding stream timescales, making a plan for obtaining early favorable positions for these.
  • Organize customer training and scientific assistance in partnership with additional assistance from the European support network
  • Manage and prioritize support in the region with assistance and supply by the factory or within the distributor organization. Contribute actively in service escalation processes.
  • Develop sales synergies with other Bruker regional sales teams and divisions.
  • Ensure timely and high quality sales reporting like leads funnel, forecast, and inputs for OMS, CRM, BP and other internal processes
  • Ensure all staff, distributors and all other relevant business partners are aware and comply with the Company’s Code of Conduct and follow our export policy. Ensure all contractual conditions secure the company against bad payment, malpractice or misrepresentation, assisted by BDAL legal department.


  • Appropriate qualifications, experience and diplomacy to influence at peer level with clients (Head of Department caliber) and distributor executive managers. Ability to liaise with people at all levels in different countries and cultures, with excellent and appropriate communication and diplomacy.
  • Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks with different priorities.
  • Qualification to travel in the region without lengthy visa application.
  • Multi-year sales experience, preferably in the respective region.
