Responsibilities

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

To sustain the growth and penetrate into new markets and applications, we are requisitioning a direct sales manager position to drive the sales in India. This position will provide direct sales coverage of Bruker SOM in Industrial Market and TMT products. Responsible for developing sales, increasing product market share, developing relationships with customers, maximizing customer satisfaction without sacrificing profitability for BNS India, feed backing market trends to factory for necessary product customization or modification, and looking into new markets and applications.

 

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Develop and implement sales strategies and activities to achieve sales goals and objectives.
  1. Responsible for maximizing sales of assigned coverage in India.
  2. Offer value proposition and solutions based on application requirement.
  3. Work closely with application and service team to achieve booking/revenue target.
  4. Work together with Marcom team to carry out marketing events, including workshop, user meeting, exhibition, and trade shows.
  5. Establish key customer relationships and positive references.
  6. Collect market information and work with BU to respond to new customers’ application needs.
  7. Explore new applications and new markets.
  1. Attend to sales enquiries by responding to requests and questions.
  2. Establish new accounts by identifying potential customers, planning and organizing sales call schedules.
  3. Build and manages healthy sales funnels.
  4. Achieve agreed sales budgets by developing field sales action plans.
  5. Utilize CRM for sales funnel management.
  6. Oversees preparation of quotations and order processing.
  7. Provides pre-sales and post-sales support to customers.
  8. Generates monthly sales and other sales-related reports as and when required.

 

Qualifications

PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Require to travel across India upon necessary for customer meetings.

Require to travel to support other region if needed.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  1. A positive team player, self-motivated with strong analytical skills
  2. Excellent inter-personal communication skills
  3. Energetic self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  4. Must be able to drive the business in the region independently
  5. Must be able to travel in different areas within his/her coverage.
  6. Fluent in English language. Other additional language is an advantage.
  7. Must have multi-country exposure and working experience.

 

 

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

  1. BS, Master or PhD in Material Science, Physics or Engineering
  1. >10 years of Tribology instrumentation sales or relevant instrumental sales experience.
