As a service Engineer for service lifecycle Support (SLS), you are expected to meet service deliverable   metrics, financial commitment, and expertise to deliver the best service to Bruker customers. This role covers all aspects of after-sale instrumentation and technical support including: installation, instrument training, calibration, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. The individual must be customer oriented with a strong technical background to ensure that our instruments are at optimum performance for their intended use.



  • Responsible for performing site preparations, on-site installation, validation, and commissioning of instruments such as MRI, TD-NMR and NMR.
  • Perform on-site troubleshooting, service repairs, preventive maintenance and training.
  • Provide technical service support either via onsite visits or remotely.
  • Process escalation and warranty claims timely and accurately to resolve service issues.
  • Liaise with global cross functional work teams such as field applications, customer support/services, product management, manufacturing and sales
  • Handle all service calls professionally and maintain proper documentation records.
  • Promote service related services to customers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.


  • Bachelor in Engineering (Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical).
  • At least 3 years of equivalent field service experience in Analytical Instrumentation.
  • Basic understanding of electromagnetic theory, electronics, mechanics, chemistry and computing systems.
  • Team player, friendly and positive attitude with high level of initiative.
  • Strong decision-making, problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Customer oriented with good communications skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  • Physically fit to handle heavy service parts used during repair and preventive maintenance.
  • Diploma with 5 years of field service experience/Fresh Engineering degree graduate would also be considered.
