Bruker is recruiting an HR Manager EMEA (outside the large countries of Germany, Switzerland and France). The EMEA region spans a wide geographic area, covering 14 countries and oversees about 500 employees. The business complexity, challenges, personnel issues and talent landscape varies significantly across the region and the HR Manager EMEA needs to assist the businesses and HR teams on the ground in delivering HR solutions to address them. He/she will work closely with the business management teams and the Global HR community to ensure the HR strategies, programs, polices and priorities are aligned to support the direction of the business.

Responsibilities

 

  • Liaise and work closely with divisional, regional and/or global HR Business Partners to ensure alignment to the global HR strategies and/or share best HR practices.
  • Formulate HR policies and standard operating procedures for recruitment, employee handbooks and other policies, travel policies, and benefits.
  • Deploy and implement HR initiatives and projects to support the achievement of business objectives, as well as pro-actively leading continuous improvement initiatives in HR areas.

    • Recruiting and on-boarding
    • Goal setting and performance appraisals
    • Data entry, analysis and delivering insights
    • Developing, implementing and communicating new policies and procedures
    • Compensation planning
    • HR audits
  • Manage the development and implementation of staffing strategies to ensure effective recruitment, screening, selection and retention of quality employees, using practices consistent with company policies and local/country legal requirements

 

Qualifications

  • Solid experience as HR Manager with a strong track record in serving as a successful business partner to the senior management team in a multi-national firm that has multiple businesses.
  • Healthcare/medical devices/life sciences industry experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of various EMEA country HR and employment law topics.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects with competing deadlines.
  • Experience working with a team of HR professionals that are not co-located.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and management skills and high professional standards for customer service and work quality.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to travel, sometimes at short notice, within respective region/ area.
