The function of the Commercial Excellence Manager has the responsibility to lead (sub-) projects across market areas and regions to increase global Sales productivity. This role drives the successful execution of Sales process (Lead-to-Order) and is responsible for Global Pricing in close alignment with Market / Product Managers.

Responsibilities

  • (Sub-) Project lead of commercial excellence projects to improve Sales Effectiveness and Efficiency
  • Implement structural, process and system changes in close alignment with the commercial and market management team
  • Drive elimination of non-value adding Sales tasks and implement standard policies and procedures (e.g. approval policies)
  • Act as facilitator to ensure close alignment of Sales and Market Management team
  • Owner of Global Pricing: Define and implement regional pricing strategy / process
  • Identify weaknesses in current procedures/structures and implement changes
  • Describe core processes and regional adjustments
  • Set-up of process KPIs, review regional performance and define actions

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business administration, informatics or industrial engineering
  • Several years of working experience in a leading consulting or multinational sales environment
  • Ability to lead cross-functional as well as cross-cultural teams
  • Business sense and result-driven mentality
  • Outstanding analytical skills, business sense and result-driven mentality
  • Structured and accurate way of working, creativity and thinking "out of the box"
  • Proven knowledge of process documentation and project management tools & concepts
  • Preferably experience in working with SAP SD module and SAP CRM
