Bruker Optics, a leading manufacturer of infrared, near-infrared, and Raman spectrometry instrumentation, software, and accessories, has an immediate opening for a Commercial Key and Strategic Accounts Manager. The Commercial Key and Strategic Accounts Manager role focuses on planning, sales execution, and relationship management within strategic accounts. This includes leveraging internal resources to ensure timely execution on strategic account needs. We also develop account management plans that open new opportunities while keeping customer success at the forefront of our ongoing strategic account efforts.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

 

  • Gather account data about key players, revenue history, industry trends, current install base, business and organizational issues, and the account’s view of Bruker and our closest competitors.
  • Identify the strategic players, field of play’s trends, field of play’s opportunities, Bruker Optics’ strategic strengths, and our organization’s critical risks in relation to strategic account.
  • Map the current and future opportunities within the key and strategic accounts and what value propositions allow for the earliest adoption of Bruker Optics Solutions
  • Determine our position on the buy-sell Hierarchy, both from our perspective and the field of plays’, and build a definition of how you want that position to evolve and in what timeframe in alignment with the Optics business plan needs.
  • Define appropriate focus investments and stop investments in relation to our business and the needs of the strategic account.
  • Provide ongoing sales forecasts for each key account and drive the sales engagement and NOB
  • Identify the single sales objectives, investment programs, information needed, and actions to implement the strategic account business plan.
  • Assist product management by providing information about the system, accessory, and support needs of the key and strategic accounts. Act as the facilitator for any in-field testing and feedback sessions requested by Optics product management.
  • Act as a single point of contact to assist in cross-divisional introductions into the key and strategic accounts.

Qualifications

  • Studies: Master´s degree or Ph.D in natural sciences or engineering
  • Personality: Strong presentation and communication skills in an international setting
  • Experience: Practical and theoretical experience with mid-infrared, near-infrared, Raman Spectroscopy & Microscopy. Experience in related techniques would be beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel (at least 50% of the monthly working time)
  • Speaking Skills: good to excellent English language skills are desired.
