We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) located in the Dresden area to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform site surveys, pre-installation, installation of Bruker Semiconductor Metrology Tools (e.g. X-ray, automated AFM, Photomask Repair tools)
  • Perform corrective and preventive maintenance
  • Provide technical support, basic application support, and customer training
  • Build strong relationship with key accounts
  • Serve as a supportive and effective communication link between the customer and Bruker to ensure customer service satisfaction
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of the semiconductor business
  • Travel regularly to customer sites across Germany and internationally (approximately 30–40% travel)
  • Timely complete and submit all required paperwork
  • Effectively handle multiple priorities, organize workload, and meet deadlines
  • Become a trusted advisor and support service contract and new tool sales
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
  • Hands-on experience with standard diagnostic equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, multimeters), strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to understand and resolve issues in complex electro-mechanical systems
  • Able to work in manufacturing, cleanroom, and laboratory environments
  • Strong computer literacy, including familiarity with data system hardware, industry-standard operating systems, and technical documentation
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Business-fluent English and German
  • A current EU driving license
