We are looking to recruit a Physicist for:

  • System integration and qualification of systems, tools, and components for our
  • Development of analytical instruments for X-Ray Fluorescence Spectrometry and X-Ray Diffraction.
  • Support of Operations in producing and testing X-Ray analytical equipment.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate shall be responsible for:

 

  • Development and optimization of products and components.
  • Defining and optimizing workflows for instruments.
  • Supporting product ramp-up to serial production and approval of quality standard for assembled
    products.
  • Reviewing standard operating procedures and improving assembly and testing processes.
  • Maintaining our existing portfolio together with operations, purchasing and vendors.

Efficient cooperation with engineering in mechanics, electronics, software including other
Bruker sites and vendors

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or higher in Physics, or other Physical science subject
  • 3 years’ experience of R&D in industry,
  • Experience in X-Ray Fluorescence Spectroscopy, X-Ray Diffraction, analytical instrumentation,
    or other X-ray analytical techniques.
  • Understanding and hands-on experience of data collection and evaluation.
  • Basic knowledge in programming and electronics-design appreciated.
  • Microsoft office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Appreciation and understanding of different cultures and religions.
  • Very good communication skills for both internal and global teleconferences in English
  • Assignment requires 1–2-month training session at a Bruker headquarters in Europe and
    occasional travel to Europe within R&D projects.
