We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Professional (m/f/d) to join our dynamic finance team. The role contributes to maintaining strong cash flow, minimizing overdue balances, and ensuring accurate financial records through collaboration with internal stakeholders and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Support the management of customer receivables to ensure timely collection of outstanding balances
  • Perform collection activities and maintain communication with customers regarding payments
  • Monitor Accounts Receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue invoices
  • Process and apply incoming payments accurately and in a timely manner
  • Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies, short payments, and unidentified receipts
  • Support resolution of customer disputes related to invoices or payments
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as Finance, Sales, and Customer Service to resolve account issues
  • Maintain accurate documentation of transactions and collection activities
  • Contribute to month-end closing activities and financial reporting related to Accounts Receivable
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and financial controls

Qualifications

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience in Accounts Receivable, Collections, Cash Application, or similar finance functions
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively and professionally in English; additional languages are an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial tools
