Bruker Malaysia is looking for a Assistant Accountant to be based in Penang, Malaysia

Responsibilities

As a Assistant Accountant, your responsibilities includes:

  • Assist in coordination and work for proactive and take responsibility in the role of AP
  • Ensures the accuracy and timeliness of processing PO, Non-PO invoices, freight bills, credit memos etc. in SAP
  • Verifies the accuracy of the invoices to ensure that they have been properly coded, and the appropriate approvals have been received in compliance with policies
  • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.
  • Ensures company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to processing of invoices
  • Controls, Compliance & Risk: Recognizes importance of sound internal control and maintaining high standards of ethical conduct
  • Maintain AVL and ensure proper documented.
  • Support in audit requests
  • Support Month / Year end close activity
  • Service-minded, Good attitude, Self-motivated, able to work well under pressure and delivery work product on time.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To be successful for this position, you shall possess:

  • Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Preferably 1 - 3 years’ working experience in the related field
  • Knowledge in SAP is a must.
  • Extensive skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Experience in accounting month-end process and preparing accounting report.
  • Be able to work under pressure, self-motivation, and strong time-management.
  • Good command of English.
  • Self-motivated, responsible, well-organized.
