As an Office 365 Specialist, you will be responsible for the technical support and development of the current Microsoft Office 365 environment for Bruker. You will use analysis and troubleshooting skills to address ongoing issues as well as proposing solutions to drive continuous improvement and growth. You are an advocate and champion of Office 365 for Bruker. As a Specialist you will be interested in automation and development which enables efficiencies, standardization, and security and will look for ways to improve the end user experience. You will take ownership over issues, without direct supervision, driving toward resolution. You will be provide 2nd level support, aiding with adoption, and training, and monitoring the health of the environment. Additionally, you will be involved in planning for and supporting Microsoft feature rollouts.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and respond to support requests for issues related to the 365 apps, Exchange Online, Teams, One Drive as well as utilizing PowerShell to automate tasks.
  • Meet with business units and stakeholders to determine Office 365 needs
  • Configure, deploy, and manage Office 365 solutions that focus on efficient and effective collaboration, including One Drive and Teams
  • Support and troubleshoot voice/video communications within Teams
  • Anticipate implementation obstacles and develop plans to address them
  • Provide input into the technology plan for the organization and ensure that plans are integrated effectively with other aspects of the technical infrastructure
  • Provide advanced level support and troubleshooting to resolve platform and solution-level issues
  • Provide support and documentation to our internal support teams as well as end users
  • Provide recommendations for investment in new products and technology solutions, supported by appropriate ROI, total cost of ownership, and/or cost benefit analysis
  • Carry out IT projects, interacting with staff and consultants as needed to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Create and maintain documentation on the organizations systems and procedures
  • Stay up to date on technologies related to your responsibilities
  • Apply consistently a positive, problem-solving attitude and demonstrate a curious mindset
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience of 365 (Exchange, OneDrive, Teams, SharePoint)
  • Understanding of PowerShell for executing scripts and commands related to the platforms within the job description, when applicable
  • Ability to develop and present end-user training programs, and to communicate technical information to non-technical staff
  • Ability to develop and document repeatable standardized procedures, and strictly adhere to existing procedures
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills, as well as a methodical and disciplined approach to IT issue resolution and systems management
  • Ability to identify potential areas of improvement and make recommendations
  • Understanding of 3rd party applications and their interactions with O365
  • Some developer skills to understand customer's applications
  • Ability to work in a global, virtual environment
  • Maintain a valid passport with flexibility for travel
  • May be required to pass security clearance investigation
