The Salesforce Team is part of the Commercial Excellence department that acts as the strategic business partner to the sales, service, and order fulfillment organization. The team supports global business and support functions by optimizing the go-to market approach, enabling back-office processes, and striving to improve existing commercial and after-market processes.

 

As a Salesforce Administrator, you will be joining a passionate, and goal-oriented Salesforce team that is responsible for a highly customized Salesforce instance with more than 1,700 users. You will be working in a local team of administrators, embedded in a larger multinational Salesforce team with an Architect, Developers, and Business Analysts.

This role combines hands-on administration responsibilities with potential to develop further into taking on declarative development tasks. You’ll play a vital role in maintaining and continuously improving our Salesforce platform and user experience. You should enjoy all aspects of user management including support tickets, training, and designing solutions.

 

As an in-depth problem solver, you will need to demonstrate an understanding of software engineering concepts and be responsible for working on full lifecycle engineering efforts using Agile methodologies, object-oriented design, and accepted best practices. Together with our Business Analysts and other Developers you’ll be part of Salesforce projects to improve existing or establish new features.

 

Responsibilities

  • All aspects of user management including new user setup, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules, and the overall security model
  • Provide ongoing support and training to end users, including day-to-day support via ticketing system, the creation and delivery of training materials, demoing new features, documentation maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Make Salesforce configuration changes in alignment with the developers, including but not limited to: Flows, fields, page layouts, record types, custom settings, dashboards and reports, approval processes.
  • Manage Salesforce data, including importing, exporting, and mass updating of data.
  • Improve business productivity, efficiency, and performance through critical evaluation of information gathered from multiple sources and making suggestions for improvements.
  • Initiate and take ownership of improvements of the existing highly customized platform; decrease technical debt.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent and professional work experience as a Salesforce administrator.
  • Extensive Salesforce Sales and Service Cloud product knowledge. Salesforce CPQ, Experience Cloud and marketing automation knowledge preferred.
  • Certified Salesforce Administrator, with proven experience putting theoretical knowledge into practice.
  • Able to collaborate and communicate effectively with international business stakeholders and other Salesforce team members, and to write, interpret, and critique technical specifications.
  • Proficient English communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

 

Please note that this position requires you to work 3 days per week onsite in our Porto office (next to Palacio de Cristal), so it cannot be carried out fully remotely.
