Bruker Nano Surfaces and Metrology solutions include atomic force microscopy instrumentation (AFM) and non-contact nanometer resolution solution topography through white light interferometry and stylus profilometry. In addition, the division manufacturers and markets automated X-ray metrology, automated AFM defect-detection and photomask repair and cleaning equipment for semiconductor process control.

Responsibilities

As a Sales Application Manager, Taiwan, your key responsibilities include:

  • Customer Support & Engagement:
    • Serve as the primary technical interface between Bruker and Key Account Advanced Packaging (AP) teams for OCD/Overlay metrology solutions.
    • Provide onsite and remote technical support for process development, tool evaluation, and production ramp activities.
    • Understand customer process integration requirements and translate them into metrology applications and tool improvements.
  • Application Development & Optimization:
    • Develop, validate, and optimize WLI-based OCD and Overlay recipes for advanced packaging structures (e.g., hybrid bonding, RDL, micro-bump).
    • Work closely with customer and Bruker R&D to enhance tool performance, stability, and measurement accuracy.
    • Drive tool qualification and benchmark performance against customer specifications.
  • Team Management & Training:
    • Lead application engineers supporting Key Account Advanced Packaging (AP) lines in the region.
    • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to application engineers to build strong local application capability.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with BU application, product support, and R&D teams to align roadmap and product enhancements with customer roadmaps.
    • Support account managers in technical discussions, demo preparation, and business case development for new opportunities.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting:
    • Prepare detailed reports, data summaries, and technical presentations for internal reviews and customer meetings.
    • Ensure continuous improvement in measurement capability and system performance.

Qualifications

To be successful for this position, you shall possess:

  • Education:
    • Master’s degree or above in Physics, Materials Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 7+ years of experience in semiconductor metrology, process integration, or application engineering.
    • Hands-on experience with optical metrology (OCD, WLI, or Overlay) systems; prior experience with OCD/WLI tools a strong plus.
    • Deep understanding of Advanced Packaging (e.g., CoWoS, InFO, SoIC) process flows.
    • Proven track record of supporting key accounts semiconductor customers preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to interpret complex metrology data and propose actionable solutions.
    • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage customer expectations and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
    • Team leadership experience preferred; capable of mentoring junior application engineers.
  • Personality & Work Style:
    • Self-driven, customer-focused, and collaborative.
