• Java development for desktop application 
• Full-stack development focusing on the pmod software – including test design, validation, UI/UX, initial documentation, use of the development tracking system
• Tracks and fix software-related issues – including estimation of time to story completion, progress updates, recording of verification process
• Participates actively in work reviews and development progress meetings
• Independently carries out research and investigation to support development, including prototyping
• Accumulates experience to become specialist in relevant technologies
• Assists colleagues in providing application and technical support to end users of the software, including occasional direct interaction with end users (2nd level customer technical support)

Proficiencies and Skills

• Experience in Java development 
• Strong background in object-oriented software development
• English language at business communication level

Advantageous Skills

• Familiarity with the technology and application of biomedical imaging modalities
• Familiarity with medical data formats incl. DICOM and DICOM communication
• Knowledge of Python and (My)SQL
