The Total Rewards Partner (m/f/d) supports the design, implementation, and management of compensation and benefits programs across regions. The role plays a key part in salary benchmarking, job evaluation, and incentive design, ensuring competitive, fair, and compliant total rewards practices. Working closely with the business HR, this position contributes to the development of the overall Total Rewards strategy to attract, retain, and engage top talent.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the job infrastructure and the salary ranges to ensure internal equity and career progression consistency. Support HR Business Partners in job evaluations and benchmarking.
  • Drive the annual compensation processes, including goal setting, performance review, merit & bonus cycle, and equity process.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret total rewards data to prepare salary-related analyses, dashboards, and reports. Leverage analytics to generate strategic insights that inform decision-making.
  • Participate in compensation and benefits market studies and surveys.
  • Monitor local and global total rewards market trends and regulations, including pay equity laws, pay transparency requirements, and internal company policies. Partner with relevant stakeholder to support compliance efforts. 
  • Support the design and review of benefits, wellness, and recognition programs globally.
  • Partner with HRBPs to advise on complex new hire proposals, promotions, and retention packages. Provide guidance to HR Business Partners on total rewards topics, influencing decisions through data-driven recommendations and best practices
  • Partner with HRIT and local HR teams to ensure accurate data management and processing.
  • Develop communications and training for global rewards programs, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with global HR strategy. Develop and present total rewards educational materials for managers and employees.
  • Lead or participate in complex cross-regional projects and initiatives from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with global HR strategy and business objectives.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in compensation & benefits or total rewards within international, matrix organizations, supporting multiple markets.
  • Expertise in compensation analytics, job evaluation, and market benchmarking.
  • Written and spoken fluency in English required (min C1); advanced German highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in pay transparency, mobility and equity processes is an advantage.
  • Good understanding of the EMEA total rewards landscape; experience with the APAC and US markets is a plus.
  • Familiarity with job evaluation methodologies and salary surveys (Aon Radford, Mercer, or WTW).
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot table, data modelling, and visualization) and PowerPoint.
  • Good knowledge of HRIS systems, preferably SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an attention to detail and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Able to work independently and in a remote global team.
  • Collaboration and teamwork capabilities.
  • Initiative and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
