We are currently looking for an Application Engineer (m/f/d).

Responsibilities

  • You will be immersed in issues from all over the world and all industries, from engine components to tools to medical implants, solving them together with a dynamic team and our customers
  • Your tasks will include close collaboration with the R&D and solutions team to develop, deliver and implement state of the art solutions based on customer needs
  • You will support our sales team with your expertise through pre-sales activities such as demonstrations and test measurements
  • You will work with the most innovative optical 3D measurement systems, put them into operation and train highly skilled experts from various industries

Qualifications

  • A successfully completed technical education in mechanical engineering, manufacturing technology or alike
  • Knowledge and/or experience in the field of measurement technology, ideally in optical metrology
  • Solution-oriented thinking, working independently, high accuracy and a high degree of empathy for working in and with different cultures
  • Ability to explain technical issues, effectively, to non-technical users
  • Willingness to travel (roughly 50% of your working time), with destinations 90% within France for a maximum of one week at a time
  • Excellent communication and learning skills
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
