This is a dynamic role that blends product ownership, system configuration, data analytics, and end-to-end project delivery, with a strong focus on Position Management within Employee Central.

Responsibilities

HR Systems Expertise:

  • Serve as a senior functional expert across SuccessFactors modules: Employee Central, LMS, Onboarding, Performance & Goals, and Recruiting.
  • Configure and maintain key system elements: foundation objects, workflows, pick-lists, role-based permissions (RBP), and business rules to ensure data integrity.
  • Lead data imports, migrations, and user acceptance testing (UAT); define regression testing for bi-annual releases.
  • Monitor and improve data quality across the employee lifecycle, implementing KPIs and remediation strategies.
  • Support and troubleshoot integrations with Payroll, Finance, and Recruiting systems; contribute to interface design and optimization.
  • Ensure secure system access aligned with GDPR and internal data privacy policies.
  • Deliver global training, documentation, and release communications to drive adoption and continuous improvement.

Project Leadership & Governance:

  • Own delivery of HRIT workstreams: scope, timeline, resources, budget, and risk management.
  • Translate business needs into clear functional requirements; manage backlog and priorities in partnership with HR leadership.
  • Lead cutover planning, hypercare, and stabilization across regions and time zones.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including SOWs, estimates, and quality assurance of deliverables.
  • Drive change management initiatives: stakeholder engagement, communications, and training strategies to ensure successful adoption.
  • Use tools like Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet to maintain transparency and auditability.

Position Management Implementation:

  • Lead or co-lead the global rollout of Position Management in Employee Central as the single source of truth for positions and headcount.
  • Configure position types, attribute inheritance (job/org/location), incumbency rules, and workflows for position lifecycle management.
  • Establish position-controlled hiring and integrate with Recruiting (iCIMS) and Finance for headcount planning.
  • Drive data migration and reconciliation to eliminate orphan or duplicate records.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
  • 5 - 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors, including Employee Central and at least one of the following modules: LMS, Onboarding, or Performance & Goals.
  • Proven track record of leading end-to-end HRIT project delivery, including planning, risk management (RAID), UAT, cutover, hypercare, and stakeholder communication.
