We are looking for a hands-on and motivated Field Service Engineer (m/f/d) to join our engineering team at Chemspeed Technologies, supporting our customers through installations, maintenance, technical training.

Responsibilities

  • Install & Maintain Systems: Perform installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs of our automation platforms at customer sites.
  • Be the Go-To Expert: Act as the main contact for service calls, technical support, and troubleshooting—ensuring smooth operation and customer satisfaction.
  • Train & Empower Others: Deliver technical training to customers, distributors, and internal teams. Support onboarding of new service technicians and assist in service documentation.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with R&D, automation chemists, and sales managers to provide tailored technical solutions and feedback from the field.
  • Support Production & Testing: Assist in final testing of devices and support production when needed.
  • Drive Value: Help define and conclude service contracts. Promote and sell consumables and system upgrades to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Education: University degree in electronics, mechatronics, or a related technical field.
  • Technical Experience: Familiarity with automated systems and lab environments is a strong advantage. Previous experience in Field Service Engineering is required.
  • Languages: Fluent English is required (min. C1 Level); German is highly recommended. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Mindset: You are a problem-solver with a passion for technology and a customer-first attitude
  • A valid passport and willingness to travel globally are required.
