For Bruker Optics GmbH & Co. KG we are currently looking for reinforcement. It is part of Bruker Corporation and is one of the leading manufacturers of FT-IR, FT-NIR and Raman spectrometer systems for a wide range of industries and applications.

 

To strengthen our team in Ettlingen (near Karlsruhe) we are currently looking for a:

 

Working Student (m/w/d) Scientific Content Creation (12-20 hours per week).

 

Responsibilities

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Work in an interdisciplinary team of analytical experts, software developers, and marketing content creators
  • Use state of the art analytical soft and hardware
  • Work in a clean and air-conditioned working environment
  • Learn the basic corporate organization and real-world applications of FTIR spectroscopy

Responsibilities:

  • Create marketing content and material on technical innovations and new applications, e.g., by the recording of video footage
  • Develop attractive tutorials workflows for real-world spectroscopic users, such as scientists, operators and lab managers
  • Contribute to customer success by showing them when and how to apply spectroscopic techniques effectively

 

Qualifications

  • Enrolled as student in natural sciences, engineering or related subject
  • Ability to critically reflect on the results of your work
  • Basic principles of analytical work should be known
  • Experience with the use of analytical instrumentation, in particular with FTIR or Raman spectroscopy would be a plus
  • Experience in video creation and editing would be beneficial
  • Excellent German and English language skills will be needed
