Responsibilities

  • You lead and manage the sales and customer service team for optical spectroscopy in the South African and Sub-Sahara region.
  • You analyze, develop, and control the short- and long-term corporate and team-specific goals, while defining tailor-made strategies for achieving them.
  • You are responsible for the implementation of operational planning and control systems, ensuring the adherence to operational and performance goals, considering the business indicators.
  • You monitor the sales, operational, and financial results and ensure their achievement based on the established performance goals.
  • You act as a point of contact for key customers, business partners, and professional associations for the entire Bruker Optics portfolio.

Qualifications

  • High level technical expertise, as well as several years of experience in sales and/ or management in optical spectroscopy (FT-IR, Raman and/or NIR) or closely related markets.
  • Solid knowledge in business economics and operations, as well as proficiency in handling Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Excellent leadership skills, management experience and the ability to motivate employees.
  • Result oriented and creative in addition to having strong business-development skills.
  • Your exceptional communication skills, to interact with clients, staff and senior management in Engish proficiency.
