Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Sales Manager to drive business growth in the Greater China region for our advanced SPR technology. This role requires a unique combination of technical expertise and commercial acumen to promote our solutions, manage distributors, and develop new market opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biosensors, molecular interaction analysis, or related life sciences technologies, along with a proven track record in sales, third party agency (TPA) management, and market expansion. While they are expected to be self-driven in executing sales initiatives, they are expected to be a team player and align with and implement the company’s overall market strategy.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales growth in the Greater China region through a combination of direct sales, TPA management, and market development.
  • Manage and support TPA to ensure strong performance, alignment with company strategy, and effective market coverage.
  • Promote biosensor technology to potential customers through presentations, demonstrations, and industry events, increasing market awareness and adoption.
  • Execute the company’s commercial strategy in China, ensuring alignment with global and regional business goals.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities, including key accounts, emerging market segments, and strategic partnerships.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
  • Work closely with internal and international teams (e.g., business development, technical support, marketing, compliance) to enhance sales efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure effective communication and reporting with headquarters, providing regular updates on sales performance, market developments, and distributor progress.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD in Biotechnology, Biophysics, Bioengineering, or a related life sciences field (or equivalent experience in biosensors and molecular interaction analysis).
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, or distributor management in the life sciences or analytical instrumentation industry.
  • Deep understanding of biosensor technology and molecular interaction analysis, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to commercial audiences.
  • Proven track record in sales growth, distributor management, and market expansion in China.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to drive initiatives independently while aligning with company strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment with a strong focus on development.
