Responsibilities

SUMMARY:

We are seeking a dedicated "Production Engineer" to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and coordinating system assembly and test processes. You will ensure that all assigned tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, meeting the highest quality standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

 

  • Be a lead for a group of technicians and engineers on the daily activities. 
  • Secure and coordinate timely completion of customer-orders.
  • Secure and allocate necessary resources, including manpower, tools, and materials.  
  • Monitor resource utilization to optimize productivity.
  • Maintain quality standards throughout the assembly and testing processes.
  • Ensure adherence to occupational health and safety regulations.
  • Identify and address issues promptly, proposing effective solutions.
  • Escalate critical problems to higher management when necessary.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue, on-time delivery, and inventory control.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Hands-on and problem-solving oriented mindset.
  • Leadership skills to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Efficiently manage time and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and handle unexpected challenges.
  • Strong ability to work collaboratively with various departments and team members.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Teams).
  • Familiar with an ERP system (scheduling and inventory control). preferabably SAP .

 

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in a supervisory or team lead role is required. 
  • Technical or Engineering or Science based Master or Bachelor Degree preferably in Material Science or Engineering or  Mechanical, Electrical Engineering
  • Typically, requires 5+ years of related experience in a high-techor high precision instrument
  • Experience in project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management.
