Bruker Life Science Mass Spectrometry Division in China is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team and drive the growth of our mass spectrometry product portfolio.

Responsibilities

Lead the development and execution of proactive strategic business development plans to expand the market presence of MALDI-TOF, QTOF, timsTOF, TQ instruments in the market.

Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in key application areas, including polymer analysis, small molecule small molecule qualitative and quantitative in the field of food or environmental and other small molecule applications, to drive growth and innovation.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key KOLs, including academic researchers, pharmaceutical companies, and biotech firms, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Proactively and effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and sales, to ensure seamless alignment and successful execution of business strategies.

Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning, leveraging insights to inform strategic decisions.

Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and scientific meetings, proactively promoting our technologies and solutions to key audiences.

Provide technical expertise and support to customers and internal teams during the sales process, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and successful deal closures.

Achieve and exceed revenue targets for the assigned product portfolio through proactive business development and strategic planning.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field with a minimum of 8+ years of relevant business development experience in the analytical instrumentation industry.

OR a Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in a relevant field with 5+ years of business development experience.

Experience working in a global or matrixed organization will be preferred.

Proven track record of driving business growth and achieving sales targets in the mass spectrometry or related markets.

Strong technical knowledge of MALDI-TOF MS, QTOF, TQ and their applications.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Ability to build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders and decision-makers in the life sciences community.

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently as well as in a team environment.

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required.
