Bruker Microbiology & Infection Diagnostics (BMID) provides advanced solutions for the rapid identification and analysis of microorganisms, supporting both clinical microbiologists and those in industrial and applied microbiology. Their technologies are designed to address the increasing diversity and complexity of microorganisms that infect humans and animals. Recently we have expanded into Molecular Diagnostics and other diagnostics solutions through various acquisitions including ElitechGroup which closed in May 2024.

 

We are looking as of now in full-time for our office in Bremen for our BMID division a Strategy Manager (m/f/d)

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategy Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in leading and structuring strategy workshops, developing guiding principles, and supporting divisional leadership in strategic planning and governance. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and structure strategy workshops with business areas to analyze and capture market and business operational needs.
  • Help manage strategy workshops with Business Area (BA) leaders to develop and align guiding principles, Business Model Innovation and Development (BMID) to enable a global high-transactional Target Operating Model.
  • Support divisional leadership in organizing and managing annual strategy and governance meeting calendars.
  • Provide structure and input into financial models to prioritize strategic goals and support business models for different capital and consumables portfolios.
  • Develop divisional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and project monitoring structures for the senior team to monitor commercial and operational performance using a balanced scorecard approach.
  • Assist senior leadership in developing agendas, capturing actions, and feeding priority projects into the Project Management Office (PMO) for kick-off and execution.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Strategy, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, business analysis, and operations management.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with project management and governance processes.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and modelling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
