Bruker BioSpin AG is the world’s leading provider of complete systems for nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance (EPR) spectroscopy and pre-clinical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). We focus on high-performance scientific instruments and analytical solutions that are designed to support medical and life science research, improve safety and health, and protect the environment. The production engineering department is responsible for new product introduction, as well as for the optimization of the existing product portfolio and processes.

 

In this team we are looking to fill a position as an NMR specialist for production support and software development.

Responsibilities

  • Production support for the NMR Test group (hardware and software)
  • Detailed analyses for hardware issues
  • Continuous improvement of the automated test software
  • Regular exchanges with R&D
  • Documenting the existing processes, test infrastructure and software
  • Continuous improvement of test infrastructure and software
  • Member of the support team for the (NMR) tests

Qualifications

  • Doctorate in NMR / MRI / EPR
  • Alternatively: degree in engineering or physics with extensive experience in NMR
  • In-depth knowledge of NMR hardware
  • Programming experience (OOP)
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, writing and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to learn German quickly is essential
