Responsibilities

The Transfer Pricing Senior Specialist ensures compliance of Bruker with international transfer pricing regulations and engages in operational transfer pricing models, prepares tax documentation, develops guidelines, conducts analyses, participates in audits, and advises on compliance. The role involves collaborating with global finance and accounting teams in Bruker’s Business Support Center in Warsaw for accurate transaction recording. They provide tax advice, analyze contracts, support cross-border transactions, demonstrating expertise in financial analysis and tax law.

Key responsibilities

  • Independently prepare tax documentation, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
  • Monitor transfer pricing policies in line with global tax strategies
  • Conduct market analyses, including benchmarking analyses and compliance descriptions
  • Participate and support in transfer pricing audits
  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert and provide advice on TP analysis and models
  • Collaborate with local controllers to gather TP relevant information
  • Offer support for cross-border transactions and assist in implementing tax-efficient solutions
  • Proactively resolve day-to-day issues and escalate service incidents to the Team Lead
  • Demonstrate proficiency in financial analysis and tax law
  • Guide TP Specialist(s) in day-to-day activities

 

Qualifications

  • Education - B.Sc. degree or equivalent in Tax, Law, Accounting, Finance, or Economics; US-GAAP experience preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years (4 years for the senior position) of relevant experience in transfer pricing or comparable activities
  • Language skills - English (min. C1) required, German/French/Italian (B1) will be a plus
  • IT skills - Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel; Good experience with SAP systems (R/3, S/4HANA); Openness to data analytics/process automation tools (e.g. VBA, Alteryx, Power BI)
  • Comprehensive expertise in (operational) transfer pricing processes, benchmarking analysis, acquisitions, tax laws, and transfer pricing regulations, with experience in reviewing tax provisions from a transfer pricing perspective
  • Keen attention to detail, excellent analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to critically evaluate situations, assess their importance, urgency, and risks, and communicate these effectively
  • Proficient in conveying information clearly and understandably
  • Strong organizational skills with an open-minded and adaptable attitude towards change
  • Ability to thrive in a deadline-driven environment while managing multiple tasks
  • Competence in working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Past SSC transition experience is preferred
