The function of the Field Support Administrator – Latin America is to support the MID LATAM Commercial Team in achieving the goals set for the region, monitoring and preparing tender documents with direction from the Commercial Team, working with importation and regulatory to ensure smooth process of new system and consumables orders, working with Americas Consumables Manager as needed to ensure proper local stocking, and working on other special projects to support the Commercial Team success.

Responsibilities

  • Occasional attendance of tradeshows / conferences to provide booth support as needed.
  • Coordinate / participate in regional seminars if required.
  • Administer relevant paperwork for tender process and provide Commercial Team with the necessary support.   
  • Monitoring leads in Sales Force
  • Development of ongoing BMID LATAM News Digest working with Americas Marketing Manager

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to provide reports to BDAL management and be proficient in MS Office and other software. Gather critical Metrics on “lead to order” success rates and other key parameters relevant for Sales Management and Marketing
  • Develop & maintain contact database, user lists etc in Sales Force.
  • Support achievement of the commercial goals set for the region, in alignment with MID Latam Leadership.
  • Distribute Applications survey to all appropriate customers and share summary reports on quarterly basis
  • Report into MID LATAM Region Manager with dotted line report to LATAM Business Development & Applications Manager.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Customer support experience required.
  • Ability to maintain valid travel documentation
  • Flexibility and ability to prioritize varying tasks within assigned deadlines
  • Experience in customer support.
  • Ability to travel nationally & internationally to trade shows, conferences and internal meetings.
  • Portuguese primary language with skill in the English language. Spanish proficiency a plus.
  • Tenacity and self-motivation inspired by success, enthusiasm, drive and initiative directed towards Commercial Team success
  • Ability to operate in a matrix team structure to meet goals.
  • Self-discipline and the ability to decide priorities in a rapidly changing commercial environment
  • Open communication style, sharing relevant information as needed to ensure rapid problem solving and overall internal and external customer satisfaction
  • Ability to comply with local cultural differences

Working Environment

  • Hours of work are nominally 40 hours per week.
  • Brazil based, working from home and local Atibai, Brazil office as needed
  • This position reports directly to the Bruker MID LATAM Region Manager.
